Advertising opportunities on this site

Many suppliers will be familiar with our policy regarding advertising. We aim to offer a range of options, at least one being available at a price within the budget of even the smallest company. These enable suppliers to supplement their basic free entries by publishing prices, listing their agents, stressing special features or any other factors which make them especially worthy of consideration.

OPTIONS AND PRICES

1. Expanded address entries
These were such a popular feature of our original website that we are offering them again. The concept is simple, every supplier has a free listing in the addresses section but we strictly limit its content to the company name, one address, one telephone number, one fax number, one web address and (if desired) the name of one contact and/or an e-mail address. Expanded entries provide a very low-cost method of adding more information than we can include without charge.  They comprise up to 100 words in bold type following the supplier's free address details and can be used to stress unusual facilities, list branch offices, agents and stockists or mention recent contracts etc.  The price is only £48 per annum. Please note that this charge does not include any form of priority listing for which Bronze, Silver or Gold sponsorships as described below are necessary but we do insert live links from the web address to the suppliers website and, if desired, to an e-mail form.  (Click here to see a sample Expanded Entry)

2. Banner advertisements:
These provide a facility for conventional advertising on particularly appropriate pages in this substantial site. Allocations are on a first-come first-served basis so it would be sensible to book once an ideal location has been identified. Only one A Size or two B Size Banner Ads will appear on any page.

Size A is the full width of the page and measures 870 pixels wide by 90 pixels high (approx 320mm X  35mm on a typical full screen display) and costs £125.00 per annum. 

Size B is half page width and measures 430 pixels wide by 90 pixels high (approx 160mm X 35mm) on a typical screen. The cost is  £75 per annum.  Click here to see a sample Banner Ad.

3. Bronze Sponsor Listing
Bronze sponsors have privileged listing because their entries appear above the 'bar' separating sponsors from those companies not yet supporting this project and we provide live links to their address where we also hyperlink their own websites - we will also include a linked e-mail address if desired. Bronze sponsors appear lower in any listing than the silver or gold sponsors described below and their data sheets do not contain logos in the right hand box. The cost is £55 per annum. 4. Silver Sponsor Listing
At £150 per annum even the smallest supplier can afford to be high in the results of any search.  Silver Sponsors appear ahead of all others apart from Gold Sponsors.
Silver Sponsors can publish their logo in the box to the right of each of their entries to make them stand out.  We also automatically include a live link to their bookmarked address details and another link to provide rapid access to their website and we will link their e-mail address if they wish us to include it - all features designed to help users make rapid contact.  (Click here to see a sample Silver Sponsor entry.)

5. Gold Sponsor Listing - Including a dedicated web page
Gold Sponsors enjoy all of the advantages outlined above for Bronze and Silver Sponsors plus superior listing and an entire dedicated page on this website with a link to it from each of their entries. This is, we believe, a unique innovation, but it will only be effective if users find it worth their while to click the links. We therefore request advertisers to include only useful additional information such as branch addresses, a price list, addresses of agents, additional product details, special features or after-sales facilities.
The charge for a Gold Sponsor listing, including one whole page advertisement, is £450 per annum.

(Where two or more companies' entries fall into the same priority band, the date of payment determines the sequence in which their data sheets appear in any listing, so prompt payment is advised.)
